National Coke Addiction

We are addicted to quick solutions. Coca-Cola, or Coke, is one of them.

Work and creation generate a chemical called dopamine that gives us a natural feeling of achievement, pride and motivation to go further. It is not very intense, but it is one of the important natural feedback mechanisms that keep us moving forward and helps establish healthy well-being.

Being engaged in the routine enterprise machine, we are being paid to live the American Dream. However, many of us encountered issues with making sense of things, engagement, etc. All this affects our mental health and well-being. All this improves with a cup of coffee or a can of sugary pop — coke. Science tells us that drinking soda — especially caffeinated soda — can cause your brain to release dopamine, also known as the happy hormone. This dependence makes us temporarily happy helping us to go on with our day. However, we are also dangerously vulnerable and threatens our well-being, our health.

I heard someone saying recently that the price for the freedom of choice is discipline. Nothing helps better than your will to say no.
